PRS: PRS is the Performing Rights Society. This is where music producers, composers, songwriters singers etc join the PRS so that they can get paid for what they do each time they perform or make something new. Its like a reward for producing work.

PPL: PPL is Phonographic Performance Limited where music licences for businesses, radios, audio streaming and CD's etc get to save the effort of going through gaining permissions to play music. The price of it is £68.26 per year- school quote.

CC: CC is the Creative commons. This is a non profit organisation which works to increase the amount of creativity. This organisation is free to the public, any profit that is made in this organisation goes back into the organisation to keep it running to in theory no profit comes out from the organisation. This organisation is affiliated with big companies such as YouTube, Vimeo etc.

Royalties: Royalties is where artists can licence their music for a fee. This means anyone that wants to use or listen to the music will have to purchase it to use it.

Copyright: Copyright Act is where people use this act so nobody can steal their work and claim it as theirs. For example if someone has made a new song and another person likes the songs and want to use it they would have to ask permission first to use the song if it is copyrighted but if it isn't they wouldn't need to ask permission for the song because it isn't copyrighted.
